CALL refelction

CALL  REFLECTION
     國際商務二甲 10244037      邸筠捷
In the beginning, I thought that Computer-Assisted Language Learning is learning computer components, application software or hard drive . For example: CPU or screen resolution and so on. In the first class when teacher explained what is  CALL and what it learning I came to understand . And then teacher showed us the website to introduce the CALL, I had generate a lot of interest in this course. Because if nobody teaches us how to use these functions, I will never how to use and I will lose many things.

I am most interested in is MY ET and TED. MY ET which is the software
I immediately love it in first time I used it. I very liked the teaching of the clouds previously.

My ET have Chinese, Japanese and English languages courses and my most want to learn Toeic word. I thought it just only training our speak but it could read and word. It is very diversified. It would send a certificate to my mailbox in the end of each class, so I feel a sense of accomplishment.  And the most interests me is speaking. Because I usually not have the chance to practice speaking, even I told but I did not know what I said is right or wrong. This software lets me know when I say one sentence is right or wrong and tone are accurate or imprecise.

TED is also I am interest, Ted site has a lot of video can give us to watch for free above the site, it not only give us to practice listening but also learning and understand some truths in life. There have a lot of things we can not learn in school. For instance: speaking skill and some very inspirational speeches. This website is very valuable.

I think I will change the method of learning English in future. In the beginning I only learning from the books but now there are more ways I can learn. Like teacher introduces us My ETand TED. So I can not only learning in the textbook but also can learning through software.

I really like this class! I learned a lot of things. I like teachers’ teaching our ways.
Teacher speaks English would not too quickly , I can understand what you want to say. If teacher will open this lesson in the future, I would like to very eager to learning it again.

        Thanks for teacher’s guidance!

#5. You've got to find what you love

I think this sentence is  very important to me .
In my high school, I do not know what I like and what I want to do in the future , and lost some time, but fortunately I find my favorite things to do.
Although still occasionally perplexed, but because it is my favorite things to do, after some adjustment,  I will want to do that more.

#4. Steve Jobs speech

1. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

2. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made..

3. If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.

4. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.

5.
Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart.Even when it leads you off the well worn path, and that will make all the difference. (This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

6.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.

7.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
